Zurich-based infrastructure specialist B Capital Partners AG buys 36 percent of Bekk and Strøm AS (BoS) through its Luxembourg BC-ETIF TOR fund. This fund invests exclusively in sustainable infrastructure in the energy sector.
BoS owns and operates 22 small power plants in Norway with a total production of 155 GWh, in addition to a portfolio with many exciting development projects.
enso hydro GmbH is still a majority shareholder in BoS. enso hydro is an investment company owned by Austrian investors and the German hydropower investment fund DWS Access Wasserkraft Beta KG, which in turn is a majority shareholder in a total of 26 hydropower plants in Norway, Austria, Albania and Turkey.
